Obituary of Roy Wallace Brown

Roy W BROWN, age 55, of Whitewater, Wisconsin, passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2010, at Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital. Roy was born in Elkhorn, Wisconsin on November 19, 1954, the son of Roy Wallace and Ruth (Harrison) Brown. On October 12, 1974, Roy married Cherry Christian at the First English Lutheran Church in Whitewater. Roy enjoyed working for Willson Power Sports for 9 years. He was a Cat master service technician for ArticCat. He was a very good mechanic, loved snowmobiling and had a great sense of humor. Surviving are: Wife: Cherry Brown, Whitewater, WI, Daughter: Michelle (Travis) Larson, Whitewater, WI, Granddaughter: Danika Larson, Whitewater, WI, Sister: Bonnie (Carl) Henry, Janesville, WI, Two Nephews: Steven (Diedre) Oldenburg, IN, and Scott (Lori) Oldenburg, Whitewater, WI, and Niece: Lezlie Oldenburg, GA. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends. Roy was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at 11:00AM at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, 550 N. Newcomb Street, Whitewater, Wisconsin with the Rev. Steven Hanson officiating. Friends may call from 5-7PM on Wednesday at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Whitewater, Wisconsin and after 10:00AM on Thursday until the services.
