To Karen Saddenwasser and Sue's family...
I just heard of Karen's passing and I'm sending my prayers and love from Cleveland, Ohio. I lived down the street during middle school and high school in Fond du Lac and have very fond memories of Karen and Sue. I moved to Cleveland when I was 16 and I thought about them often over the years. The Saddenwasser family was always very nice to me and I always had so much fun with the girls. I wish we hadn't lost touch over the years.
I'm praying for all of you to receive comfort and strength.
Blessings,
Silvia

Pastor Steinbrenner and family,
I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Susan's passing. I had such fond memories of when you both lived at the rental house in Cedarburg while you attended Seminary. I remember that her and I would play Scrabble sometimes after school....I would always look forward to seeing her as I was a teenage girl and she always gave good, Godly advice and then would ask me how cute the boy was...haha!
Ethan & and children.....I know God is with you and I pray the Holy Spirit will comfort you in your loss and bless you with His gifts.
God's eternal love and blessings,
Jenny, George, Kayla, Georgie & John Winston

Sue and I were very dear grade school pals growing up in Fond du Lac. Though we lost touch over the years, I have often thought of Sue and of our fun times together. I will treasure these memories.

May the God of all peace give you comfort at such a difficult time for His love for you cannot be taken away, even by death (Romans 8:38-39). Susan is now enjoying the fulfillment of her Savior's work. May the emptiness of your earthly loss be filled with the vision of her glory in heaven.

Ethan and children - we experienced the immediate flush of sadness when your Uncle Aaron told us the news. It is our instinct to immediately measure what we have lost. Yet, while we mourn in this loss we rejoice in her gain through Christ. God has richly blessed all of you in the years he gave Susan to you as wife and mother. Find comfort in the promises of God and the assurance of salvation through Christ. You are all in our prayers.

Pastor Steinbrenner...
Wow, what comforting words can I possibly say, that you yourself have not said to others during their time of loss, myself included. Your words were such a comfort to me on the day my husband died, and then again at his funeral. I can only pray that you and your family take comfort in those same words. Peace be with you and your family.
Lamentations 3:31-32

My deepest sympathy in your sorrow. God does indeed work in mysterious ways. May His hand uphold you at this time. May He comfort you as you mourn the loss of your wife and mother.

Nurse Steinbrenner,
Eight years ago on May 13th, you saved my life when I had my heart attack. I have never forgotten you for that, nor will I forget you. I wish I could have done something for you to save your life. May you have eternal peace in Heaven.
Steinbrenner family,
I am very sorry for and was deeply disturbed when I heard of your loss. Susan was a great lady. I guess the saying is true, The Good Die Young.
