Obituary of Augusta Bertha Young

Augusta Bertha YOUNG, age 97, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2010, at the Golden Living Center, in Fort Atkinson, WI. Augusta was born in Cross Plains, Wisconsin on December 22, 1912, the daughter of Richard and Bertha (Wagner) Wille. On June 12, 1937, Augusta married Roy Young in Strawberry Point, Iowa. Roy preceded her in death on January 14, 1975. Augusta retired from the University Hospital in 1975 and moved to Eagle River. She later moved back to Fort Atkinson to be closer to her family. Surviving are: Son: Richard E. (Mariann) Young, Portage, WI, Daughter-in-Law: Lois Young, Madison, WI., Brother: Robert (Helen) Wille, Tytonka, IA, Sister: Annie (Herman) Sanftleben, Black Earth, WI, Grandchildren: Carolyn, Cindy, Cathy, Roger, Pam and Lori, Several Great-Grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Augusta was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a son Roger J. Young. Per Augusta�s wishes no formal services will be held. Burial will be in the Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Madison, Wisconsin. The Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson is assisting the family
