Obituary of Elizabeth W. Bugiel

Elizabeth W BUGIEL, age 94, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2010, at the Golden Living Center, in Fort Atkinson, WI. Elizabeth was born in the Town of Koshkonong, Wisconsin on July 1, 1916, the daughter of Frank and Augusta (Sanftlaben) Hensch. She married Ludwig "Louie" Bugiel on March 3, 1938 in Jefferson, Wisconsin. Louie preceded her in death on May 13, 1983. Elizabeth and Louie had farmed in the Rockdale/Cambridge area and she worked for 27 years, sewing at the Dr. Scholls Shoe Factory in Jefferson, Wisconsin. Elizabeth was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson. Surviving are: Two Nephews: LaVerne (Jean) Reu, Elkhorn, WI, and Earl (Judy) Reu, Fort Atkinson, WI, Two Nieces: Agnes and Maryanne Bugiel, Rolling Meadows, IL, Special Friends: Norma Vorlob, Fort Atkinson, WI, Sharon Stevens, Fort Atkinson, WI, and Wilma Zaspel, Fort Atkinson, WI. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother Gilbert Hensch, and a sister Mildred Reu. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 8, 2010 at 11:00AM at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, Fort Atkinson. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, WI.
