Obituary of Doris K. Karnes

Doris Karnes, age 90, of Whitewater, wife of Donald Karnes passed into Eternal Life on October 16, 2010. She was born on January 21, 1920, to Christian and Lena (Zeinemann) Ruppel in Sheboygan, WI. On June 5, 1948, she was married to Donald Karnes. Surviving are her husband, Donald; daughter: Kathryn (William) Ewalt, Lewisville, NC; granddaughter: Mary Alice Ewalt, Cary, NC; grandson: Robert Moore Ewalt, Rogers, MN; sister: Ruth Mueller, Carbondale, IL; 4 nephews: Robert Karnes, Palmyra, VA, Steven Mueller, Terry Mueller, and David Mueller, all of Carbondale, IL; and sister-in-law: Dorothy Karnes, Janesville, WI. Doris was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers-in-law: Walter Karnes and Robert Mueller. Private family services will be held at Nitardy Funeral Home, Whitewater.
