Obituary of Margaret Virginia Morgan

Margaret Virginia MORGAN, age 103, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, formerly of Green Bay, Wisconsin and Munising & Marquette, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 17, 2010, at the Sienna Crest Assisted Living Center, in Fort Atkinson, WI. Margaret �Virgie� was born in Bays Mills, Michigan on August 14, 1907, the daughter of Sophia (Blaker) and Leo Dean Ames Sr. Virgie was a beautician and owner of �Virgie�s Jewel Box� on Ashland Avenue for over 30 years in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She retired to the Upper Penninsula (�UP�) of Michigan and became a baker for the Northwoods Supper Club in Marquette, Michigan. Virgie was active in the Methodist Church. She loved sewing, reading, and baking. Margaret was famous for her pies, bars, soups and bread. She loved spending time with her family in the �UP� and the family farm located on the Bad River Indian Reservation near Ashland, Wisconsin. Surviving are: Son: David Morgan, Ashland, WI, Sisters: Ardis (Ron) Klumb, Marquette, MI, Sally (Elmer) Jorgensen, Marquette, MI, and Gwendolyn (Jack) Spence, Westland, MI, Daughter-in-law: Sharon (Miota) Peters, Sun Prairie, WI. Grandchildren: Jean (Robert) Resnick, Wellesley, MA, Vickie (James) Kosarik, Cleveland, OH, Pam (Mark) Peters-Colclasure, Germantown, WI, and Marc (Lori) Peters, Marshall, WI, and Great-Grandchildren: Jesse, Spencer, Tess, Dillon, Cora, and Grant. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Donald, Robert, and Leo Jr, sisters: Pearl, Esther, and Evelyn, a son Harvey "Mick" Peters, and husbands: Clifford Peters and Patrick Morgan. Private Family Services will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Munising, Michigan. The Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson is assisting the family,
