Obituary of Mariann Florence Young

Mariann Florence YOUNG, age 73, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2010, at the Golden Living Center, in Fort Atkinson, WI. Mariann was born in Madison, Wisconsin on October 26, 1937. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, Leo and Elizabeth (Dagget) Herful. On May 6, 1960, Mariann married Richard Edward Young in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Mariann resided in Rio Wisconsin for 30 years before moving to Fort Atkinson in 2002. She worked as a cook for the Rio School for 12 years. She loved riding motorcycles and was a member of the Gold Wing Road Rider's Association Chapter H of Madison. �Surviving are: Husband: Richard Young, Fort Atkinson, WI, Three Daughters: Caroline (Bob) Davis, Milford, WI, Cindy Bredson, and Catherine (Allan) Schultz, Fort Atkinson, WI, Seven Grandchildren, Brother: Jim (Judy) Longfield, Two Sisters: Kathleen Poole, and Louise (Robert) Klubertantz and Two Step Sisters: Barb and Beverly. Mariann was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother-in-law, Eugene Poole. No formal services will be held. Inurnment will be in the Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Monona, Wisconsin. The family would like to Thank all the staff at Golden Living Center and Dr. Shauna Meyer for taking such wonderful care of Mariann. The Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson is assisting the family
