Obituary of Betty Jane Schroedl

Betty Jane SCHROEDL, age 86, of Jefferson, Wisconsin, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2011, at Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital. Betty was born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin on March 2, 1924, the daughter of Albert and Molly (Kreklow) Kraus. She married Albert Schroedl in 1952. Albert preceded her in death in 1978. Betty was a category winner for the Pillsbury Bake Off in 1998 with her Texas Two Step Slaw. Surviving are: Her Children: Cheryl (Craig) Langlois, Jefferson, WI, Keith A. (Sally) Chapman Sr., German Valley, IL, and Patricia Schroedl, Jefferson, WI, Grandchildren: Gordon (Shelli) Williams Jr., Shannon, IL, Scott (Amy) Chapman, Forreston, IL, and Keith (Peggy) Chapman Jr., Savannah, IL, Great-grandchildren: Benjamin Williams, Lacy Chapman, Scott Chapman Jr., Amanda Chapman, and Ethan Chapman, Three Great Great Grandchildren, Sister: Jeanette Musgrove, Fort Atkinson, WI, and Brother-in-Law: George Werner, Fort Atkinson, WI. She is further survived by several nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, two sons: Dennis and Roger Schroedl, and two sisters: Myrtle Werner and Virginia Kutz. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2011, at 1:00PM at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Burial will be in the Cold Spring Cemetery, Town of Cold Spring, Wisconsin. Friends may call from 4-7PM on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson and after 12PM on Wednesday until the services.
