Obituary of Elizabeth Mae Jeanette Lueder

Elizabeth Mae Jeanette �Betty� Moen Lueder, age 82, of Rockdale, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2011, at her home. Betty was born in Cooksville, Wisconsin on February 20, 1928, the daughter of Franz and Caroline (Onsrud) Holm. She graduated from Stoughton, High School in 1945. Betty married Eugene Moen on January 23, 1948. Together they had two sons and two daughters. Eugene preceded Betty in death on July 12, 1966. On January 27, 1973, Betty married Robert "Skip" Lueder. Skip preceded her in death on January 22, 2004. Betty worked as a legal secretary for Earl Munson and then for Rumpf Law Offices for over 50 years. She also worked for Lake Ripley Country Club, the Cambridge Foundation and the Lake Ripley Cemetery Association.She was a member of the Rockdale Lutheran Church, Eastern Star, and the Lake Ripley Country Club. She enjoyed playing Gin-13 with her firends at LRCC and played in her bridge club for over 50 years. She loved cheering on the Blue Jays and the Packers. Her greatest joy was attending the many events her grandchildren were involved in. Betty is survived by her four children: Randi, David, and Richard Moen, and Julie (Scott) Mickelson, all of Cambridge, WI, her step-children: Terry (Debbie) Lueder, Madison, WI, David (Ann) Lueder, Fort Atkinson, WI, and Lori (Larry) Willing, Jefferson, WI, her grandchildren: Hannah, Maggie, Sarah and Sam Mickelson, and Tia and Tim Moen, her grandchildren-by-heart: Katie, Pat, Ali, Jesse, Mike, Bobby, Lauren, Rico and Lauren, her step-grandchildren: Chris (Jodi) Lueder, Scott (Jenny) Lueder, Matt (Kelly) Lueder, Amy (Brian) Norris, Tracy (Peter) Roub, and Brian (Krista) Willing, eight step-great grandchildren, sisters-in-law: Helen Holm, Mick Lueder, and Norma Cleary, brother-in-law: Bill (Joyce) Lueder and many wonderful nieces, nephews, and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters-in-law: Orlin and Marian Holm, and Franz and Gladys Holm, and sister and brother-in-law Ruth and Lawrence Finsness. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 31, 2011, at 11:00AM at the Rockdale Lutheran Church (handicap accessible), Rockdale, Wisconsin with Rev. Richard Dowling officiating. Inurnment will be in the Rockdale Cemetery, Rockdale, Wisconsin. Friends may call from 2-5PM on Sunday, January 30, 2011 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Cambridge, Wisconsin and after 10AM on Monday at the church until the services.
