Obituary of Scott Timothy Pfeiffer

Scott Timothy PFEIFFER, age 45, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2011, at his home. Scott was born in Fontana, California on December 1, 1965, the son of Timothy Pfeiffer and Becky Booth Pfeiffer. He graduated from Don Lugo High School in Chino, California. On September 13, 2003, Scott married Denise Nigh in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin. Scott was employed by Onyx Waste Services of Fort Atkinson, and Allrite Home and Remodeling Inc. of Milwaukee. Scott, formerly a race car driver himself, founded "Racin' for a Cure" to raise awareness and funds for ALS research after his own diagnosis in 2007. Scott managed Derek Thorn's racing career who was the team driver for Racin' for a Cure. He enjoyed golfing, watching NASCAR, and spending time with his children. Scott and his family attend Faith Community Church in Fort Atkinson. Surviving are: Wife: Denise Pfeiffer, Fort Atkinson, WI, Sons: Jerred Godinho, Corona, CA, Cameron Pfeiffer, Fort Atkinson, WI, and Daughter Taylor Pfeiffer, Fort Atkinson, WI, Father: Tim Pfeiffer, LaVerne, CA, Mother and Step- Father: Becky and Jack Gasper, Corona, CA, Brother: Jeff Pfeiffer, Anaheim Hills, CA, Sisters: Jennifer Gasper, Redlands, CA, and Shannon Gasper, Sacramento, CA, and Step-Grandmother: Donna Riley, Upper Lake, CA. Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents: Orien and Thelma Pfeiffer, and Dwight and Christine Booth. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 10, 2011, at 2:00PM at Faith Community Church, Fort Atkinson with Rev. Dan Pierce officiating. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Friends may call from 5-7PM on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson, WI and after 1PM on Thursday at the church until the services.
