Obituary of Vernon Paul Simdon

Vernon Paul SIMDON, age 85, of Cambridge, Wisconsin, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2011, at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital, in Madison, WI. Vernon was born in the Town of Oakland, Wisconsin on November 2, 1925, the son of Ernest and Mary (Streseman) Simdon. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict from 1951 until 1953. Vernon worked at the Larson Canning Company, he was a milk hauler, and he later worked at Lake Mills Blacktop and the United CoOp. Surviving are: Brother: Ronald (Ruth) Simdon, Cambridge, WI, Sister: Arlene Turpin, Fort Atkinson, WI and Sisters-in-Law: Mildred Simdon, Fort Atkinson, Betty Simdon, Lake Mills, Betty Simdon, Hopkinsville, KY and Ida Klubertanz, Cambridge, WI. He is further survived by nieces and nephews. Vernon was preceded in death by his parents, and four brothers; Wilfred, Gordon, Howard and Franklin Simdon.
