Obituary of David Eugene McFarlane

David Eugene MCFARLANE, age 82, of Cambridge, Wisconsin, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2011, at the William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hosptial, in Madison, WI. David was born in Leeds, Wisconsin on December 4, 1928, the son of John Robert and Eva Alberta (Esterbrook) McFarlane. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. David worked as a semi-truck driver for 28 years, driving 3 million miles. David retired in 1990. David resided in Madison for many years, before moving to Cambridge in 1990. �Surviving are: Wife: Frieda "Fritzie" McFarlane, Cambridge, WI, Five Children: Julie McFarlane, Sun Prairie, WI, Dana (Kurt) Fauerbach, Middleton, WI, Kelly Harrelson, Madison, WI, David McFarlane, Madison, WI, and Mitchell McFarlane, Edgerton, WI, Step-Children: John (Sandra) Schwenn, Madison, WI, James (Nora) Schwenn, Middleton, WI, and Jeffrey Schwenn, Middleton, WI, Grandchildren: Reva McFarlane, and Ross McFarlane, 6 StepGrandchildren: Justin, Jordan, Jennifer, Vanessa, Garrett and Kelsey, Four Great-Grandchildren, and Sister: Janet (William) Hughey, Lodi, WI. David was preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Robert, Alfred and John and sisters, Barb Jamison and Doris Dahlen. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at 11:00AM at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, Cambridge, Wisconsin with Rev. David Paul officiating. Burial will be in the Kroghville Cemetery, Town of Lake Mills, Wisconsin. Friends may call after 9AM on Wednesday at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Cambridge until the services.
