Obituary of Eva M. Hinkel

EVA M HINKEL, age 102, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2011, at the Blackhawk Senior Residence in Fort Atkinson, WI. Eva was born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin on March 1, 1909, the daughter of William and Ida (Fandrei) Cullen. She attended St. Paul's Lutheran School and it's high school. On September 7, 1942, Eva married Ted Hinkel at the St. Paul'sLutheran Church Parsonage. Ted preceded her in death on April 14, 1962. Eva worked for Bettersocks Knitting Mills in Fort Atkinson for 28 years. She and her husband operated the Fort Atkinson Movie Theater for many years. Eva was a member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. She was also a member and volunteer for 50 years for the Fort Atkinson Hospital Auxiliary. Surviving are: Dearly beloved nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Eva was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters: Margaret Cullen, Verna Dadmun, Ethyle Johnson, and Helen Jones. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Friends may call after 10:00AM on Tuesday at the church until the services.
