Obituary of John Sielicki

John SIELICKI, age 87, of Greenfield, Wisconsin formerly of Whitewater, Wisconsin, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at Clement Manor, in Greenfield. John was born in Poland on January 27, 1924, the son of Michael and Marie (Ruslik) Sielicki. On May 11, 1945, John married Donna Kondraczek in Germany. John worked at Alpha Cast in Whitewater until his retirement. Surviving are: Children: Mary Rutkowski, Greenfield, WI, Marvin (Linda) Sielicki, Cedarburg, WI, and Stephanie Sielicki, Greenfield, WI, Grandchildren: Jason and Sarah, Jessica and Angela, Great-grandchild: Olivia, and a Sister: Sophie Stachowicz, Evergreen Park, IL. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. John was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Donna, and a dear sister Emilia Sobolewski. John came to America after WWII with his family to begin a new life and settled in Whitewater where he lived most of his adulthood. To be closer to his children, he moved near Milwaukee nine years ago. He was passionate about his Brewers and never missed watching the games. He was a kind man, generous father and a loving grandfather. He will always be loved and will never be forgotten. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011, at 11:00AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Whitewater, Wisconsin. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Whitewater, Wisconsin. The Nitardy Funeral Home, Whitewater is assisting the family.
