Obituary of Helen Grace Murray

Helen Grace MURRAY, age 85, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2011, at Alden Estates of Countryside in Jefferson, WI. Helen was born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin on February 4, 1926, the daughter of Gustav and Esther (Margraff) Gerondale. On November 8, 1944, Helen married Robert Murray at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson, WI, together they spent summers in Wautoma, Wisconsin. Helen was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking and watching food shows. She liked to garden and was an avid Packer and NASCAR fan. Surviving are: Husband: Robert Murray, Jefferson, WI, Four Children: David (Linda) Murray, Shawano, WI, Karen (Jerry) Smith, Emery, SD, Pamela (Richard) Dahl, Watertown, WI, and Debra (James) Lombardo, Wright City, MO, 12 Grandchildren: Sharon (Mark) Magee, David (Joanne) Murray Jr., Jody (Lloyd) Gleisner, Jackie Heinaman, John (Jodi) Stoller IV, Todd Dahl, Keith (Liz) Dahl, Matthew (Krista) Dahl, Casey Dahl, Jennifer Lombardo, Amy Lombardo, & Samantha Lombardo, 19 Great-Grandchildren , Brother: LeRoy Gerondale, Shawano, WI, and Sister: Dorothy Wing, Fort Atkinson, WI. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, a brother James Gerondale, and her mother and father-in-law Anna and James Murray. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at 11:30AM at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, Fort Atkinson, WI with Father Jay Poster officiating, Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Friends may call after 9AM on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at the funeral home unitl the services. The family wishes to extend a thank you to Alden Estate of Countryside and Rainbow Hospice both of Jefferson for all the wonderful care that was provided by the nurses and staff for Helen.
