Obituary of Paul Hill Mathewson

Paul Hill MATHEWSON, age 74, of East Troy, Wisconsin, passed away on June 8, 2011, at the Waukesha Memorial Hospital, in Waukesha, WI. Paul was born on July 5, 1936 in St. Paul, Minnesota the son of Paul H. and Sonta (Tucci) Mathewson Sr. He graduated from Whitewater College High School. Paul was a custodian for the University of Whitewater before retiring. He was a member of the Whitewater Country Club since the late 70's. Paul enjoyed sports; he was quarterback for the football team at Whitewater College High School, he bowled, played softball, and golfed. Surviving are: Daughter: Sarah J. Mathewson, Janesville, WI, Grandson: Charles Robert Mathewson, and Niece: Kim Ackerman and her children: Paul & Vicki Zautke. Paul was preceded in death by his parents and a sister June Potts. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, June 12, 2011, at 2:00PM at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, Whitewater, Wisconsin. Burial will be in the Oak Knoll Cemetery, Mukwonago, Wisconsin. Friends may call after 1PM on Sunday at the Nitardy Funeral Home until the services. Memorials may be given to the family for a fund for Paul's Grandson, Charles.
