Obituary of Wayne Lee Jacobs

Wayne Lee Jacobs, 61, of Lincoln, Nebraska, went to his heavenly home on Thursday, June 9, 2011. Wayne was born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin on September 23, 1949, the son of John and Ethel (Schrader) Jacobs. Wayne was baptized and confirmed at First English Lutheran Church in Whitewater. He graduated from Whitewater High School. Wayne�s final journey took him to the People�s City Mission in Lincoln, NE, where he worked. Surviving are his sister, Donna (Dennis) Scherer, Fort Atkinson, WI, brothers Glenn Jacobs, East Troy, WI, John Jacobs, Janesville, WI, and Steve Jacobs, Whitewater, WI. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents. A visitation will be held Saturday, June 25, 2011 from 1 � 3 pm at Nitardy Funeral Home in Whitewater, WI. No formal services will be held. The Nitardy Funeral Home, Whitewater, is assisting the family.
