Obituary of Robert V. Seisser

Robert V. Seisser, 69, of Fort Atkinson, passed away June 12 at home surrounded by family. Robert was born May 26, 1942, to Virgil Jr. and Margaret (nee Zimmer) Seisser in Sycamore, Illinois. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1960 and married Patsy Klettke at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Jefferson on January 21, 1967. He was employed as a machinist. Throughout his early years, Robert enjoyed drag racing his 409 Chevy, hunting, fishing, and archery. He lived his life with purpose and meaning, he was gracious, compassionate, and strong in faith, and felt honored to help others. His pride and love for his family was immeasurable. Though he knew his death was imminent, he held on to the hope of seeing the upcoming births of three new grandchildren. Robert is survived by his wife, Patsy; two daughters, Tiffany (Mark) Misko of Madison, and Cassidy (Jarrett) Sampson of Fort Atkinson; and one grandchild, Vasher Sampson. He is also survived by his mother, Margaret Seisser of Jefferson; two brothers, Gerald (Kathy) Seisser and Virgil III (Mary Kay) Seisser, both of Jefferson; as well as his mother- and father-in-law, Lynn and Florence Jordan, brothers- and sisters-in laws Gerald Klettke and Doug (Betty) Vail, all of Fort Atkinson, and Sally Tamblingson, of Colorado; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Jr. Robert�s life will be celebrated Friday, June 17, 2011 at 6:00PM at Nitardy Funeral Home in Fort Atkinson, with Pastor William Ochs officiating. Friends may call after 4:30PM on Friday at the funeral home until the services. Private inurnment will be held at the Carillon Tower at Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson. In lieu of flowers, please direct memorials to Rainbow Hospice. The family thanks the staff at Rainbow Hospice, family, and friends. Faith gave Robert peace and his prayer would be for everyone to live in faith. We were blessed to have him as a husband, father, and grandfather. �I firmly believe we will all come together again.�
