Harold Walling

Obituary of Harold Joseph Walling

Harold Toad Joseph WALLING, age 69, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, left this earthly world to ride his Harley with the angels on June 30, 2011. Harold was born in Janesville, Wisconsin on June 4, 1942, the son of Fred and Eva (Prein) Walling. Harold worked for Nestle Purina for 42 years. He enjoyed spending time with family, and especially spoiling his grandkids. He enjoyed NASCAR, going to the movies, hunting, enjoying the company of his dogs, and doing puzzles. He loved Harleys and loved to ride up until his illness that confined him to a wheelchair. He loved being outdoors and working in his yard. Even though the last few years of his life were spent in a wheelchair, he took pride in being independent. He was the first person to offer help if anyone was in need. He was a very generous and loving man. He was an amazing husband, father, and grandfather. The world has truly lost an incredible soul. Surviving are: Wife: Karen Hillebrand-Walling, Fort Atkinson, WI, Two Sons: Dion Walling and Mary Walling, Fort Atkinson, WI, and Dennis (Shelley) Walling, Johnson Creek, WI, and Daughter: Amanda (Dean) Alvarado-Wilson, Janesville, WI, Two Step-sons: Scott Hillebrand, Fort Atkinson, WI, and Jeff Hillebrand, Portage, WI, and Step-Daughter: Tracy (Ryan) Foley, Edgerton, WI, Two Brothers: David Walling, and Alfred (Val) Walling, Two Sisters: Mary Alvarado, and Terri (Jerry) VanAcker, Grandchildren: Kyle Walling, Jacob Alvarado, Cheyenne Wilson, Tucker Wilson, Connor Foley, Cennedi Foley, Nathanael Hillebrand, Justin, Cameron, Ryan, and Brayden Walling, and Ashley and Tyler Schmidt, and Great Grandchildren: Rylee Schmidt and Olivia Schmidt .
