Obituary of Megan Marie Peterson

Megan Marie (Dalby) PETERSON, age 24, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, affectionately known as �Myrna� passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2011, as the result of an auto accident. Megan was born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin on November 17, 1986, the daughter of Dale and Patricia (Gaserude) Dalby. She graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 2005 and received her Licensed Practical Nursing training from MATC. While in school, Megan danced with the Fort Park and Rec department, competed in gymnastics, and was a 4 year member of the Fort Atkinson High School Pom Squad. On November 8, 2009, Megan married Cody Peterson in Marco Island, Florida. Megan worked as an LPN for the Dean Clinic in Madison and for the Golden Living Center in Fort Atkinson. Megan was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson. She enjoyed spending time with her son Landon and husband Cody and her dog Stella. Surviving are: Husband: Cody Peterson, Fort Atkinson, WI, Son: Landon Peterson, Fort Atkinson, WI, Parents: Dale and Patti Dalby, Fort Atkinson, WI, Brother: Jeffery LeFave Jr., Fort Atkinson, WI, Sister: Melissa Dalby, Fort Atkinson, WI, Nephew: Trystian LeFave, Maternal Grandparents: Ronald and Kathleen Gaserude, Jefferson, WI, Paternal Grandparents: Earl and Louise Dalby, Cambridge, WI, and Great-Grandmother: Edith Shepherd, Fort Atkinson, WI. and her beloved little dog Stella. She is further survived by several Aunts and Uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Megan was preceded in death by her nephew, Aiden Yanke. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 8, 2011, at 11:00AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fort Atkinson, WI with Father Brian Wilk celebrating. Burail will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Friends may call from 4-8PM on Thursday, July 7, 2011 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson and after 10AM on Friday at the church until the services.
