Obituary of Kenneth P. Wardle

CAMBRIDGE- Kenneth P. Wardle, age 68, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Monday, July 18, 2011 at HospiceCare in Fitchburg. Ken was born on March 17, 1943 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Milton and Delphine (Rogers) Wardle. Upon graduation from South High School, he enlisted and proudly served in the United State Air Force. After returning from Vietnam, Ken married Betty Hackl on August 26, 1967. They resided in Cambridge for the past 16 years. He worked at Johnson Controls, Inc. as Service Manager, for the last ten years of his carrer and retired in June 2004. Ken loved spending time with family and friends, wood working, driving his Mustang convertible, fishing, going on road trips and especially having "fun in the sun" in South Padre Island during the winter months. He is survived by his wife Betty; two sons, Scott and Craig (Becky); granddaughter, Zoe; a sister Dolores (John) Guerriero of Youngstown; a brother, John (Patty) Wardle of Youngstown; many wonderful and caring nieces and nephews; and a special nephew, Ron (Cindy) Booth of Boardman, Ohio. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 23, 2011, at 11:30AM at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, 208 N. Park Street, Cambridge, Wisconsin with Chaplain Timothy Jones officiating. Friends may call after 10:00AM on Saturday at the Nitardy Funeral Home until the services. �We will get through this terrible time of grief over our loss, will find solace in all the wonderful memories, but forever miss Ken�s companionship, humor and gift of guidance.�
