Obituary of Carson Coleman

Carson Coleman, longtime resident of Whitewater and graduate of Whitewater High School, passed away at the Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming on July 24, 2011. Carson was born on August 22, 1973 at the Lakeland Hospital, Elkhorn, Wisconsin and baptized at the First English Lutheran Church in Whitewater. He was raised on a small farm in the Town of Whitewater. He graduated from the Lakeview Elementary School, Franklin Junior High, and Whitewater High School. As a youngster Carson played second base for Underwood Drugs on the Kachel's Kids diamond in Whitewater. As an adult he was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. After attending the University of Wisconsin (Eau Claire) he graduated from the Full Sail Center for the Recording Arts in Florida and became employed in the film industry as a producer of informational films. Carson subsequently moved to Wyoming where he helped his Father manage a 360 Ranch west of Hawk Springs, Wyoming. He actively participated in the Hawk Springs Building Association, Sewer & Water Committee, and Goshen County Republican Party. Carson attended the Torrington Baptist Tabernacle Church in Torrington, Wyoming. Carson is survived by his Father, Chuck, his Mother, Lois, of Hawk Springs, his four brothers, Steven (Theresa), Minneapolis, MN, Michael (Kathy), Wauwatosa, WI, Scott (Regina), Alexandria, VA, Casey (Melissa), Whitewater, his sister, Kristi (Ed), Palatine, IL, 6 nieces, Mary, Ellen, Courtney, Chayse, Johanna and Monica and 2 nephews, Jack and Zaden. The Nitardy Funeral Home, 550 N. Newcomb St., in Whitewater is handling the funeral arrangements. A visitation is scheduled for Sunday, July 31, from 5:00-7:00p.m. at the Funeral Home. The funeral will be at the First English Lutheran Church in Whitewater at 10A.M. on Monday, August 1st. Interment will be in the family plot at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in the Town of Sugar Creek. Memorials to Carson may be given to the Walworth County Fair Foundation or to the Whitewater Park and Recreation Department.
