Obituary of Leone Jeanette Clark

Leone Jeanette CLARK, age 96, of Whitewater, Wisconsin, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2011, at Fairhaven in Whitewater, WI. Leone Jeanette Clark was born on October 27, 1914 in LaFarge Wisconsin to Alva Mason and Ruby Leone(Beardsley) Clark. Leone received her Bachelor's Degree in Education from UW LaCrosse and had completed 75% of her Master's Degree. Leone taught for the Beloit School District for 37 years. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority, the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Whitewater, Wisconsin Education Association and the Westside Fortnightly of Beloit. Leone has been a resident of Fairhaven in Whitewater for 21 years. Surviving are: Cousins: Lana Runyan, West Chicago, IL, Dean Millman, Houston, TX, Stanley Betts, Sacremento, CA, and Lawrence Betts, Waterloo, IA. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:15PM on August 19, 2011, at Fairhaven, 435 W. Starin Road, Whitewater, WI. Inurment will be in the Gays Mills Cemetery, Gays Mills, Wisconsin.
