Obituary of Marion Jean Krebs

Marion Jean KREBS, age 87, of Whitewater, Wisconsn, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at Fairhaven in Whitewater, WI. Marion was born in Whitewater, Wisconsin on December 19, 1923, the daughter of Arthur and Tilla (Strommen) Fero. She was a resident of Whitewater all her life. On August 25, 1943, Marion married Frederick Krebs in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Fred preceded her in death on November 30, 2004. Fred and Marion were the owners and operators of a laundromat in Whitewater for several years. She built birdhouses for resale and was the caretaker for her mother for many years. Marion enjoyed going fishing and gambling at the casinos. Surviving are: Nieces and Nephews. Marion was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and five brothers: Ed, Claude, Charles, Robert, and Barney. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, Whitewater, Wisconsin with Rev. Jerald Wendt officiating. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Whitewater, Wisconsin. Friends may call after 1PM on Sunday at the funeral home until the services.
