Obituary of Jody Rae Repinski

Jody Rae Repinski passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on August 27, 2011 after a courageous two month battle with cancer. Jody was born on April 25, 1963 at Mercy Hospital in Janesville, WI to parents, Mary Holland and Richard Brown. She went to grade school in Elkhorn, WI and then graduated from Whitewater High School. Jody went on to marry Thomas Repinski in Whitewater, WI on October 13th, 1984. Tom and Jody had two loving children, Katie and Jacob, both of Whitewater. Jody was a home maker for many years. After that, she held various other jobs. Jody enjoyed working with people doing in-home care for Society's Assests of Elkhorn over the past 10 years. Jody and Tom were blessed with a grandson Jackson whom she loved and adored. Jody also had a passion for shopping, as well as anything collectible of Elvis Presley or NASCAR driver Matt Kenseth. Jody is survived by: Husband of almost 27 years-Thomas Repinski; Daughter and Son-in-law, Katie (Bill) Engel; Son, Jacob Repinski; Grandson, Jackson Repinski; Mother & special friend, Mary Bottelman & Jim Walker; Mother-in-law, Betty Repinski: Brother & Sister-in-Law, Lester (Julie) Bottelman; Sisters: Lisa (Keith) Chase and Lori (Norman) Paulson. Brothers and Sisters-in-Law: Shirley (Dwight) Ginter; Judy (Denny) Clark; Linda (Joe) Dunham; Brian (Alyssa) Repinski. Jody is also survived by many other close family members and friends. Jody was preceded in death by her father, Richard Brown; step-father, Henry Bottelman, father-in-law, George Repinski; brother-in-law, Jeff Repinski, and her grandparents. A Memorial Service will be held at Jody's Home at 11:00AM on October 1st, 2011 per Jody's request. Jody will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
