Obituary of Louis Floyd Krieser

Louis Floyd KRIESER, age 85, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, died August 28, 2011, at his home. Louis was born on October 1, 1925 in Fond du lac, WI to William and Catherine (Greiten) Krieser. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy. On August 18, 1945 he married Lorraine Kump in Fort Atkinson. Louis drove semi truck for many years, retiring from Thomas Industries in 1982. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, traveling, and camping with his family. Surviving are his wife: Lorraine Krieser; 5 daughters: Connie (Doug) Zimmerman, Fort Atkinson; Sherry (James) Rodgers, Whitewater; Colleen (George) Brahmstadt, Fort Atkinson, Debra (Gary) Zebell, Fort Atkinson; Wendy (Michael) Taylor, Fort Atkinson; 13 grandchildren: Deanna (Dennis) Karbowski, Leslie (Bev) Zimmerman, Brad Zimmerman, David (Jamie) Rodgers, Rebecca (Noel) Schrotenboer, Steven (Jackie) Brahmstadt, Mark (Kalli) Brahmstadt, Kevin Brahmstadt, Jamie (Jacob) Stedman, Chad Belzer, Vicki (Brian) Aarstad, Pamela (Tyler) Hansen, Timothy (Jodi) Zebell; 27 great-grandchildren; and half sister Cecelia Engmann, Lomira. Louis was preceded in death by brother: Lawrence Krieser; sister: Dorothy Porter; and 3 half-brothers: Francis, Norbert, and Andrew Steiner. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday August 31, 2011 at Bethany Lutheran Church at 11:00am, with burial to follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, located in Fort Atkinson, WI. Visitation will be from 9:00am until the time of service at the church. He will be greatly missed by his family who loved him dearly. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Rainbow Hospice, and Home Health for all of the care that they provided to Louis and to his family.
