Obituary of Ronald Gene Fowler

Ronald Gene FOWLER, age 59, of Whitewater, Wisconsin, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2011, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer at the Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek, WI. Ronald was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 2, 1951, the son of Gene and Ethel (Hickey) Fowler. Ron was employed by Cuna Mutual in Madison as a Network Engineer. He previously was a part-owner of IDC-Internet Dynamics Corp. in Whitewater, WI. Ron was an avid reader, and enjoyed cooking, and playing his guitar. His main love was spending time with his grandchildren. �Surviving are: Two Daughters: Shawna (Mark) Bakken, Fort Atkinson, WI, and Sharla Fowler, Fort Atkinson, WI, Grandchildren: Savannah and Tanner Bakken, Dylan Dietzman and Colton Rosenow, Mother: Ethel Rolfe, AL, Step-Mother: Liz Fowler, NJ, Three Sisters: Nancy (Joey) Vietro, NJ, Pam Gillis, NJ, and Robin (Brian) Yoder, AL, as well as, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 5-7PM on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson. Private Family Graveside Services will be held at the East Koshkonong Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Christiana, Wisconsin. Memorials can be made to Rainbow Hospice of Jefferson, or to the American Cancer Society.
