Obituary of Marie Elaine Asche

Marie Elaine ASCHE, age 90, of Lake Mills, Wisconsin, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2011, at Brook Gardens in Lake Mills, WI. Marie was born in Plummer, Minnesota on January 6, 1921 the daughter of Henry and Laura (Lanager) Enderle. She graduated from Plummer High School. After graduating, she moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota. On September 26, 1947, Marie married Joest Harold Asche. Joe preceded her in death on May 15, 1987. Marie was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lake Mills and the Lake Ripley Country Club in Cambridge. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing bridge, quilting, and travel. Her fondest memories are of time spent with family and friends. Surviving are: Her Children: Loren (Pam) Asche, Lake Mills, WI, Kathy Lewensten, Eagle, CO, and Clifford VeVea, Bemidji, MN, Sister: Laurette (Larry) Van Deusen, Mankato, MN, Three Grandchildren and Two Great-Grandchildren. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister ,Cressie (Dan) Holberg. Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 3, 2011, at 11:00AM at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, Cambridge, Wisconsin with Rev. Mark Dressel officiating. Burial will be in the Lake Ripley Cemetery, Town of Oakland, Wisconsin. Memorials may be made to Rainbow Hospice of Jefferson County. Friends may call after 9AM on Monday at the funeral home until the services.
