Obituary of Maybelle Louise Sleaver

Maybelle L. Sleaver, 97, of Fort Atkinson, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011 at Wellington Meadows in Fort Atkinson. Maybelle was born on Dec. 25, 1913, in Curtis Mills, the daughter of John P. and Hazel (Brewer) Shultis. She married George H. Sleaver on Aug. 7, 1930. He preceded her in death in Feb. 1981. Maybelle was employed at, Badger Mills and Perry Mfg. in Fort Atkinson. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson. Surviving are her four children, Robert (Lois) Sleaver, William (Carolyn) Sleaver, Beverly Pieritz and Barbara (Warren) Bellcour; grandchildren, Scott, Steve and Stan Sleaver, Kim Sleaver, Kelly Bellcour; and great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Wendy Sleaver and son-in-law Richard Pieritz. Private Services were held Monday, Oct. 24, 2011 at Nitardy Funeral Home with Pastor Bryan Engfer officiating. Burial took place at Evergreen Cemetery Fort Atkinson WI. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Fort Atkinson or Rainbow Hospice Care, Jefferson, WI.
