Obituary of Raymond Lloyd Kakuschke

Raymond L. �Sam� KAKUSCHKE, age 73, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2011, at the Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital. Sam was born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin on January 8, 1938, the son of August and Rose (Byrow) Kakuschke. He graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1955. Sam served his country in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged in 1958. On October 18, 1969, Sam married Kathryn Simdon in the Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, Fort Atkinson. Sam worked with Thomas Industries and Conway CCX Trucking Company. Sam was a member of Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson and the Edwin Frohmader VWF Post #1879. He enjoyed NASCAR, camping at Pilgrims Campground, ice fishing, bowling, and Friday night fish fries. Surviving are: Spouse: Kathryn Kakuschke, Fort Atkinson, WI, Son: Michael (Friend: Jenni) Kakuschke, Granddaughter: Shelby Kakuschke, Sisters: Marie Hilgendorf, Dorothy Bauman,� Isabelle (Stan) Kutz, and� Irene (Earl) Zimmerman, and Brother: Richard Kakuschke. Sam was preceded in death by his parents August and Rose. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 26, 2011, at 11:00AM at the Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, Fort Atkinson, WI with Rev. Ethan Steinbrenner and Rev. Steven Wilkens officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Friends may call after 9AM on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at the church until the services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial to Bethany Ev.
