Obituary of Neale W. Hoeft

Neale W HOEFT, age 85, of Johnson Creek, Wisconsin, died suddenly on December 5, 2011, at the Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital. Neale was born on August 5, 1926 in Johnson Creek, Wisconsin, the son of Edgar and Alma (Kieck) Hoeft. He graduated from Johnson Creek High School in 1944. Neale served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1944 until 1946. On June 16, 1946, Neale married Joyce L. Christians. Joyce preceded him in death on February 23, 1982. On August 5, 1983, Neale married Janet Sayre Christians. Surviving are: His wife: Janet Hoeft, Johnson Creek, WI, His children: Steven Hoeft, Jefferson, WI, Susan (Brian) Vandewalle, Middleton, WI and Washington Island, WI, Sandra (Thomas Rademacher) Hoeft, Oxford, England, and Sara (Roger) Logan, Latah, WA, Seven Grandchildren and 6 Great-grandchildren, Janet�s children, his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth (Mark Smith) Christians, Fred (Eugenia Corrales) Christians, and Matthew (Rebecca) Christians, and four grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister: Lyrl Breitkreutz, Baraboo, WI, and her two daughters and their husbands. Neale was preceded in death by his brother Darrell Hoeft and his sister Jean Hinzmann. Per Neale�s wishes, there will be no church services. A Memorial Gathering is being planned and will be published at a later date. Memorial contributions in his honor may be made to the Johnson Creek Public Library, 125 Lincoln Street, Johnson Creek, WI 53038 Things will be quieter at the Pine Cone.
