Obituary of Delores Ward

Delores �June� WARD, age 85, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, formerly of Whitewater, WI, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at the Marler Manor, in Albuquerque, NM. June was born on April 14, 1926 in South Bend, Indiana the daughter of Homer and Louise (Bergsteadt) Zimmer. She spent one year at a Christian Academy in Guatamala. June received her BA degree in Medical Technology from Purdue University. On June 13, 1953, June married Max Ward in South Bend, Indiana. She worked in as a laboratory technician for the University Of Wisconsin, Whitewater. June was a member of Whitewater Bible Church, where she was active in the Ladies Aid and Awana. She served at the Whitewater Food Pantry and helped with the Children's Club AWA. Surviving are: Son: James Ward, Velarde, NM. June was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Max, and son: John Ward. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at 11:00AM at the Whitewater Bible Church, 511 W. High Street, Whitewater, WI. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Whitewater, Wisconsin. Friends may call after 9:30AM on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at the church until the services.
