Obituary of Evelyn Ruth Ebbert

Evelyn Ruth Ebbert, age 91, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2012, at her home. Evelyn was born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin on November 23, 1920, the daughter of Robert and Amanda (Klingbeil) Kamrath Sr. She was a graduate of Fort Atkinson High School and was employed for 32 years as an engraver for Nasco in Fort Atkinson. On May 19, 1945, Evelyn married Ervin H. Ebbert at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson. Ervin preceded her in death on February 24, 1995. She was a member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson, where she was active with the ladies aid and altar guild. She also volunteered at Twice is Nice in Jefferson and Bethesda Lutheran Home in Watertown. Evelyn loved her church and her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and canning vegetables. In her earlier years, she enjoyed camping and traveling. Surviving are three sons: David (Suellen) Ebbert, Richard (Melodee) Ebbert, and Roger (Betty) Ebbert, all of Fort Atkinson, WI, grandchildren: Michael (Jessica) Ebbert, Florida, Timothy (Angelique) Ebbert, Virginia, Brad (Michelle) Ebbert, Fort Atkinson, Paul (Mandy) Ebbert , Fort Atkinson and Julie Ebbert, Fort Atkinson, great-grandchildren: Madison and Mason Ebbert, & Shauna Ebbert, Fort Atkinson, Sebastian and Julian Ebbert, Virginia, and sister-in-law: Dorothy Missfeldt, Roswell, GA. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband Ervin, a sister Marian Luebke, a brother Robert Kamrath Jr., and a brother-in-law Glenn Ebbert. Funeral services will be at 11:00AM on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin with Rev. Paul Scharrer and Rev. Michael Duncan co-officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, WI. Friends may call from 5:00PM to 7:00PM on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, Fort Atkinson, WI and after 10AM on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the church until the service.
