Obituary of Charles Martin Roum

Charles Martin Roum, age 68, of Whitewater, Wisconsin passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at the Aurora St. Lukes Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Charles was born in Deerfield, Wisconsin on April 13, 1943, the son of Martin and Grace (Cook) Roum. He was a 1961 Deerfield High School graduate. He also graduated from the Wisconsin School of Data Processing and the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He was employed at M & I Bank/Metavante Corporation for a combined 38 years. On June 6, 1964, Charles married Carol Baier. He enjoyed riding his Harley, golfing, spending time on the island and hunting in the UP! Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Grace Roum. Surviving are: Wife: Carol (Baier) Roum; Son: Mark (Michelle) Roum, Delavan, WI, Daughter: Jennifer (Paul) Mattiacci, Minnetonka, MN. Also surviving are Mother-in-law: Wilma Baier, Whitewater, WI; Grandchildren: Matthew, Nicholas, Elizabeth, Meghan and Clarissa; Brother-in-law: Randy Baier and nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 23, 2012, at 11:00 AM at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Delavan, Wisconsin with Pastor Robert Rickman and Pastor D. J. Rasner (Charles� Godson) co-officiating. Friends may call from 4-7PM on Sunday, January 22, 2012 at the Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Delavan, Wisconsin and after 10AM on Monday at the church until the services.
