Obituary of Genevie Violet Wagner

Genevie Violet Wagner, age 85, of Fort Atkinson passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, February 2, 2012 Genevie was born on October 24, 1926, in Watertown, Wisconsin the daughter of Carl E. and Viola (Griep) Grunewald. Genevie was married to the love of her life, Walter J. Wagner Sr. on September 15, 1946 in St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Watertown, WI. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson. She also was an avid book reader and loved to knit and crochet. Genevie is survived by her son: Walter J Wagner Jr., Fort Atkinson, WI, her daughters: Sandra (Jim) Trail, Portsmouth, VA, Allyson (Bob) Morgan, North Little Rock, AR, and Carla Wagner, Fort Atkinson, WI, Grandchildren: Doro Trail, Matthew Trail, Heather Trail, Robert Morgan, Brett Morgan, and Jennifer Wagner, Great-grandchildren: Kylle and Theresa Trail and James and Hannah Trail, her brother: Albert (Dolly) Grunewald, Watertown, WI, her sister: Eileen Fisher, Tomah, WI, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter J. Wagner Sr., her parents, a sister Carol Malvitz, and two brothers: Carl Grunewald Jr. and Bobby Grunewald. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 07, 2012, at 11:00 AM at Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, Fort Atkinson,WI. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Visitation will be after 9AM on Tuesday at the church until the services. Memorials may be made to the Bethany Church Library Fund. The Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson is assisting the family
