Obituary of Robert John Baldauf

Dr. Robert John Baldauf, age 89, of Cambridge, Wisconsin passed away on February 12, 2012 at Oak Park Place in Madison. Robert was born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin on February 10, 1923, the son of Edward John and Florence (Daleiden) Baldauf. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Robert received his Doctorate degree from the University of Boulder Colorado. He worked as a clinical physiologist and Superintendent of School District 97 in Oak Park, Illinois. Robert married Marjorie Jeanne Gedney. Marjorie preceded him in death on March 24, 2003. Robert enjoyed and was an avid reader. Surviving are his children: Jim Baldauf, Cambridge, WI and Ellen (Dana) Lilly, Castine, Maine, Sister:Mary Agnes Oakpal, Montgomery, IL, Grandchildren: Zachary Baldauf, Michaelen Baldauf, Payton Baldauf, Janice Lilly, Jane Lilly, and Jeanne Lilly, and Great-grandchild: Christian Lilly. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and a brother Don Baldauf. A Memorial Visitation will be held from 10AM-12PM on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, 208 N. Park Street, Cambridge, WI. Inurnment will take place in the spring at the Valhalla Memorial Park Cemetery, Godfrey, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Rainbow Hospice of Jefferson, Wisconsin.
