Obituary of Donald Edward Lemanski

Donald Edward Lemanski, age 75, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Monday, February 20, 2012 at his home. Donald was born in Chicago, IL. on September 5, 1936, the son of Walter and Lottie (Wasniewski) Lemanski. Donald married Shirley�Nowak on September 14, 1957 in St. Michael's Catholic Church in Chicago, Illinois. Don was a retired steel worker from Chicago, Il. who made his permanent residence on the shores of Lake Koshkonong in 1990 with his dearly departed wife Shirley. They enjoyed many sunsets and time spent with friends and family on the lake. Don enjoyed boating, fishing, snowmobiling, and quading with his friends and family. He was know for patroling Lamp Road on his golf cart, the neighbors fondly referred to him as "Mayor of Lamp Road." He is survived by his children: June (Joel) Wiesneske and Dave (Kathy) Lemanski, grandchildren: Ryan, Michael, Jake, and Nicole, and great-grandchildren: Sydnee, Delainey, and Deagyn. Funeral Services will be held at 3PM on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson, WI. Friends may call after 1PM on Saturday at the funeral home until the services.
