Obituary of Lyle Richard Vogel

Lyle Richard Vogel, age 75, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Friday, March 02, 2012 at the Alden Estates in Jefferson, Wisconsin. Lyle was born on September 7, 1936 in Power's Lake, WI to Paul and Rose (Gerber) Vogel. On May 11, 1962 he married Stella Emery in Woodstock, IL. In 1969 they moved to the Fort Atkinson area where he worked at the Foundry for a number of years, and following that Lyle began his self-employed career as a metal scrap recycler, Lyle�s Iron and Metal. He very much enjoyed collecting toy tractors, especially the International brand, Farmall. Surviving are his; Wife: Stella Vogel, Fort Atkinson, WI; 2 Daughters: Yvonne Bonsall and Pauline (Ken) Schmitz; Son: Duane Vogel; Sister: Debbie (Clarence) Hodgkins; Sister: Judy (Fred) Leninger; Brother: Gary (Carol) Vogel; Sister: Carmel (Ken) Lange; Sister: Cindy (Mark) Hinzpeter; Brother: Dennis Vogel; Brother: Stanley (Jill) Vogel; 6 Grandchildren: Brian, Ashley, and Brittany Vogel, Justin Schmitz, Garrett and Evan Bonsall;1 Great Grand Child: Amalia Vogel; and Several Nieces and Nephews other relatives and friends. Lyle was preceded in death by his son: Steven; his parents; 3 sisters: Diane, Colleen, and Barbara; and 1 brother, Ronald. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 1:30pm at Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, Fort Atkinson, with Rev. Bryan Engfer officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12pm until the time of service.
