Obituary of Dorothy Lillian Covey

Dorothy Lillian Covey, age 83, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Wellington Meadows in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Dorothy was born in Fort Atkinson, WI on July 22, 1928, the daughter of Charles Wesley and Dorothea (Jaeckel) Covey. She graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1946. Dorothy worked at the Larson Canning Company in Fort Atkinson for 20 years. She was a member of Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson. Surviving are: Nephews and Nieces: David (Susan) Covey, Fort Atkinson, WI, Dr. Richard (Betty) Covey, Fort Atkinson, WI, Charlene Covey, Roswell, GA and Pam (Phil) Saucier, South Windsor, CT Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: Charles and Gerald, and a sister Ruth. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 04, 2012, at 11:00 AM at the Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, 404 Roosevelt Street, Fort Atkinson,WI with Rev. Ethan Steinbrenner and Rev. Steven Wilkens officiating. Inurnment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call after 9:30AM on Wednesday at the church until the services. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Dorcas Society at Bethany Lutheran Church in which Dorothy had been very active for many years. The Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin is assisting the family.
