Obituary of Gloria Wiser

Gloria Wiser, age 80, of Whitewater, WI went home to be with the Lord on April 7th, 2012. She was born on May 23rd, 1931 in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of Harry and Frances (Stewart) Marks. Surviving are: her husband: Roger Wiser; two daughters: Cynthia McNichols of Wauwatosa and Sharon (Colby) Swan of Iowa City, IA; four grandchildren: Katurah (Richard) Shaw, Nathan McNichols, Michael McNichols, and Madeleine Swan; great-grandson: William Shaw; Gloria's mother: Frances (Stewart) Marks; and Cousin: Delphine Buffington. Gloria was preceded in death by her Father: Harry Marks. Gloria's favorite place to visit was Door County, Wisconsin. She made many beautiful memories there with her friends and family. Gloria enjoyed quilting, watercolor painting, gardening, and cooking. She was also a dedicated member of Faith Community Church in Fort Atkinson. She will be remembered as a loving wife, kind mother and grandmother, generous hostess and outreaching neighbor. Gloria had the gift of making good friends wherever she lived. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Faith Community Church, W5949 Hackbarth Road, Fort Atkinson, WI. Friends may call after 9:30AM on Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Faith Community Church until the services. Burial will be in the Hustisford Cemetery, Hustisford, WI.
