Obituary of Donald Loren Koch

Donald L. Koch, age 72,of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2012 at the Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Donald was born in Whitewater, Wisconsin on February 22, 1940, the son of Loren and Evora (Blakely) Koch. Don was a resident of the Hebron area most of his life. He graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1958. On March 3, 1962, Donald married JoAnn Doebereiner, they just celebrated 50 wonderful years together. Don worked as a pressman for W.D. Hoard & Sons Company for 37 years. Don was an amazing man with a giving heart and was very generous with his time. He especially enjoyed hunting with his sons and grandsons. He was planning to go turkey hunting when he went home to the Lord. He was very active with his family and enjoyed spending time with them. Don was very proud of his family. Surviving are: His Wife: JoAnn Koch, His Children: William Loren (Lorin) Koch, Lori Koch, and Jeffrey Scott (Lisa) Koch, all of Fort Atkinson, WI, Grandchildren: Melissa (Keith Moats), Katie, Zach, Marin, Allison, Natalie, Logan, and Olivia, Brothers: Allen Koch, Stanley (Joan) Koch, and Vernon Koch, Sisters: Kathy Flood, Dorothy Koch, and Linda Koch. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Don was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Eugene, sister-in-law Darlene Koch and brother-in-law Bruce Flood. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, May 03, 2012, at 1:00 PM at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, Fort Atkinson,WI with Rev. Russell Frees officiating. Interment will be in the Hebron Cemetery, Town of Hebron, Wisconsin. Friends may call after 10AM on Thursday at the Nitardy Funeral Home until the time of the services. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Fort Atkinson Police, Fire, and EMS personnel for their care and concern as well as the staff in the ER at the Fort Hospital.
