Obituary of Sharon Rose Culbert

Sharon Rose Culbert, age 73, of Fort Atkinson, WI formerly of La Crosse, WI, passed away on Wednesday, May 02, 2012 at Alden Estates in Jefferson, WI. Sharon was born on September 12, 1938, the daughter of William Thomas and Frances Rose (Smith) Murphy. On June 23, 1956, Sharon married Richard Arlin Culbert in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Richard preceded her in death. Sharon worked at Oscar Mayer in Madison, WI. She had a passion for baking and cooking and was an avid ice skater. Sharon loved and cherished the time she spent with her family. Surviving are: Her children: Cynthia Moyer, Joy (Dennis) Wohlfeil, Richard (Tarrie) Culbert, Timothy Culbert, David (Joan) Culbert, and Carrie Culbert, Grandchildren: Kim, Stephanie, Michael, Jennifer, Matthew, Sarah, Johnathan, Cindilynn, Laura, Lisa, David, Kayla, and Misty, Great-grandchildren: Ethan, Brady, Kameron, Eli, Taylor, Ashton, Rylee, Brooklyn, Lily, Kloie, Dillon, Jordan, & Alexandria, Brother: William (Joyce) Murphy, and Two Sisters: Marion (Donald) Pischke and Frances Murphy. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, sister Margaret Clingan, Brother Thomas Murphy, and granddaughter Emily Culbert. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00AM on May 8, 2012 at St. James the Less Catholic Church, 1032 Caledonia Street, La Crosse, WI with Father Robert A. Schaller celebrating. Interment will be in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, La Crosse, Wisconsin.
