Obituary of Danny Ray Simmons

Danny Ray Simmons, age 70, of Jefferson, WI formerly of Tinley Park, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at his home. Danny was born in Chicago, IL on May 2, 1942, the son of LeRoy and Bernice (Witter) Simmons. He graduated from Bremen High School in Midlothian, Illinois in 1960 and from Hyles Anderson College in Indiana. Danny worked mainly as a draftsman/designer, but also as a school teacher and carpenter. On December 23, 1967 Danny married Phyllis Matula in Tinley Park, Illinois. Surviving are his wife: Phyllis, Jefferson, WI, three children: Kim (Mike) Traxler, Fort Atkinson, WI, Kerrie (Jim) Masters, Fort Atkinson, WI, and Kyle Simmons, Jefferson, WI, six grandchildren and seven Siblings. A Memorial Service for the public will be held on Saturday June 2nd at 1:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church in Jefferson, WI. The Nitardy Funeral home, Fort Atkinson is assisting the family
