Obituary of Evangeline Winona Weber

Evangeline Winona Weber, age 88, of Whitewater, WI, formerly of Fort Atkinson, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Fairhaven Corporation in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Evangeline was born in Waukesha, WI on January 21, 1924, the daughter of August and Edna (Braunel) Frey. She graduated from Waukesha High School in 1942 and was the secretary to the building inspector Tom Hones in Waukesha. She married Ned Weber on September 28, 1957 at the Waukesha Bible Church in Waukesha, WI. While living in Ixonia, Ned and Vangie volunteered at the Park Lawn School in Oconomowoc, Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital, and Waukesha County Disable American Veterans. After they moved to Fort Atkinson they volunteered at Faith Community Christian School and Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital Partners until they moved to Fairhaven in June 2010. Surviving are: her husband: Ned, daughter Julie (Kevin) Ellis, Oconomowoc, WI, grandchildren: Corbin, Parker, and Sydney, and an "adopted" son: Steven Brown, Abbotsford, WI. Vangie was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, June 4, 2012 at the Faith Community Church in Fort Atkinson, WI with Jerry Brown and Pastor Dan Pierce officiating. Burial will be in the Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha, WI. Friends may call after 10AM on Monday at the church until the services. As an expression of sympathy, memorials may be made to Faith Community Christian School, W5949 Hackbarth Road, Fort Atkinson, WI 53538. The Nitardy Funeral home, Whitewater is assisting the family
