Obituary of Lorraine Slocum

Lorraine "Lorry" Slocum, age 88, of Whitewater, WI passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2012. Mom was a hoot! She loved to kid around and tell a good joke. Her wit was very dry, and sometimes extremely sarcastic. Those of us who knew her, loved her. Mom's gone now. She's in Heaven with Dad. She is survived by her children: Jeannie, Jim, Morris, Dwight, and Steve; 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and friends - they will miss her very much. A funeral will be held at the Congregational United Church of Christ in Whitewater on Saturday, June 30th at 10:30AM There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the American Cancer Society in her name. The Nitardy Funeral Home of Whitewater is assisting the family
