Obituary of Rita Margaret Bridges

Rita Margaret Bridges, age 91, of Cambridge, WI, passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at Nazareth Health & Rehab in Stoughton, WI. Rita was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on August 23, 1920, the daughter of Benjamin and Ella (Yort) Bridges. She moved to the Cambridge area in 1983. She worked as a cook's assistant in a nursing home for 22 years. Rita was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Cambridge. She is survived by two brothers: Gerald (Jean) Bridges, Eau Claire, WI and Ben (Ruth) Bridges, Eau Claire, WI, a sister Beatrice Legge, Cambridge, WI, many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Peter Bridges and Tom Bridges and five sisters: Catherine Holmes, Louise Bridges, Patricia Wise, Marion Eisenreich, and Beverly Wold . A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, July 2, 2012 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Cambridge, WI with Father Dave Timmerman celebrating. Interment will be at Lake Ripley Cemetery, Town of Oakland, WI. Friends may call after 10AM on Monday at the church until the time of the Mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial to St. Pius X Catholic Church, Cambridge, WI or to the Activity Fund at Nazareth House, Stoughton, WI.
