Obituary of Francis Donald Shearer

Francis Donald "Donnie" Shearer, age 82, of Whitewater, WI passed away on Monday, July 09, 2012 at Willowfield Nursing and Rehab in Delavan, Wisconsin. Donald was born in Merton, Wisconsin on November 16, 1929, the son of Frank Alanzo and Catherine May (Sprander) Shearer. Donald graduated from Palmyra High School and worked as a painter. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army. He loved fishing and hunting and enjoyed reading the Bible. Donald will be greatly missed by his family. Surviving are: Two Sisters: Lillian Johnston, and Jessie Foat, both of Fort Atkinson, WI. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Frank, Gordon and Eugene, and sisters: Mary and Dolores. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, July 14, 2012, at 3:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church, 320 S. Main Street,Fort Atkinson,WI with Rev. Russell Frees Jr. officiating. Interment will be in the Siloam Cemetery, Town of Palmyra, Wisconsin. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial to the First United Methodist Church, Fort Atkinson, WI.
