Obituary of Pauline Marion Scott

Pauline "Polly" Marion Scott, age 89, of Cambridge, WI, passed away in the evening hours of July 9, 2012, at her home in Cambridge, WI. Polly was born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin on March 20, 1923, the daughter of Harold and Hilda (Rebenstorf) Christensen. She was a resident of Cambridge most of her life. On September 18, 1943, Polly married Robert Scott at St. James Ev. Lutheran Church in Cambridge. Robert preceded her in death on August 18, 2009. Polly and Robert farmed on the family farm in Cambridge. She was employed as a beautician for many years. Polly was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Cambridge. Polly along with her husband spent many hours volunteering and supporting their children and the Cambridge 4-H Club. She was a volunteer from Meals on Wheels and Reach Recovery (a cancer organization) for several years. Surviving are: Her children: Richard (Jean) Scott, and Christine (Kristopher) Frey, all of Cambridge, WI, grandchildren: Mandi (Tony) Buonincontro, Fort Atkinson, WI, Jamey Scott, Cambridge, WI, Corey (Kristin) Scott, LaCrosse, WI, Mitch Frey, Cambridge, WI, and Karly Frey, Cambridge, WI, Great-granddaughters: Madalyn, Mallorri, and Maycie Buonincontro, Sister: Renelva Reese, Hemet, CA, and Sister-in-Law: Shirley Christensen, Cambridge, WI. She is further survived by several nieces, nephews, and very close friends. Polly was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother Earl "Butch" Christensen, brother-in-law: Edward Reese, sister-in-law Eileen Scott and a great-granddaughter Maria Pauline Buonincontro. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Grace Lutheran Church in Cambridge, WI with Rev. Dan Dibbert officiating. Family Interment will be held at a later date. Friends may call after 9-11AM on Tuesday at the church until the services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial to Grace Lutheran Church or to the Traveling Rack Pack- Benefiting Susan G. Komen at Badger Bank, Cambridge, WI.
