There is a term that has fallen out of favor in the PC times we live in, Regardless it is the first thought in my head for Nancy. She was a great old broad. We worked together for many years and I learned so much from her. Go with God my very dear friend. You will be sorely missed by all your chums in the train community.

My condolences to the family of Nancy Swan. My mother just passed away on July 7th, 2012 and I know what a sad time this is, but with the realization that Nancy and my mother are now resting peacefully next to our Lord.
Respectfully,

I will miss Nancy greatly. We worked together for many years on the TTOS board. I will always treasure the picture of the 6 female life members of TTOS, taken at lunch in 2010, the last time we were all together. Nancy was erudite and had a great sense of humor, quietly stated. I could always call her for advice, and we ate together at many of the toy train events we both attended. Rest in peace, Nancy.

I am writing from the San Francisco Bay Area. Nancy will certainly be missed among the 700 train collectors in northern California. She was a wonderful lady who contributed greatly to our community. She has many friends here that have thought about her often in recent years. Her last trip out west was to the TCA National Convention in Sacramento in June 2011. Her girl friends in Pasadena have missed seeing her in recent years as they went to lunch as an annual event at the Pasadena Cal Stewart Meet each November.
God's blessings on your family through this difficult time.

Nancy will be missed by many of us who got to know her thru her involvement with the TCA and the WB&A. Her spirit and kindness was a light to many of us and she will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and her extended train family.

It was an honor and priviledge to have known Nancy. She was such a joy to be around, enthusiatic and joyful in all she did. She will be missed.
