Obituary of Douglas Lynn Miller

Douglas Lynn Miller, age 69, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital. Douglas was born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin on November 23, 1942, the son of Jerome and Viola (Draeger) Miller. He graduated from Fort Atkinson High School and served his country in the U.S. Navy. On February 25, 1995, Doug married Cynthia Frohmader in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Doug worked in maintenance for the Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital for 25 years. He was a member of the Fort Atkinson Lions Club. Doug enjoyed bowling, golf, softball, going on gambling trips, and the time he spent with his friends. Surviving are: Wife: Cynthia Miller, Fort Atkinson, WI, Son: Ryan (Erin Haugom) Vail, Milton, WI, Granddaughter: Isabel, Sister: Pat (Jack) Vial, Linden, WI, and Brother: Mark (Tina) Peterson, Rockford, IL. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Doug was preceded in death by his parents and a son Randy. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 02, 2012, at 1:00 PM at the Nitardy Funeral Home, 1008 Madison Ave.,Fort Atkinson,WI with Rev. Bryan Engfer officiating. Friends may call after 11AM on Tuesday at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson, WI until the time of the services.
